Molly's First Arctic Blast

Gabe and I were getting a bit stir crazy from being snowed in (or is it iced in?) and decided to take a walk. Here is Molly all bundled up for her first expedition into the wintry weather...
Our walk was cut rather short as we discovered that our road was sheer ice. We were doing more skating that walking. So... after a brief jaunt to the end of the road and seeing that Conser was no better, we returned home.

Miss Molly seemed to enjoy her brief winter escape... she let us know this by promptly falling asleep.

1-month old!!

Molly is a month old today! Besides keeping Mom and Dad up at night, she's busy growing and is starting to recognize the world around her. At her last weight check on Wednesday, she's only a couple of ounces shy of 10-pounds... yikes!

Miss Molly has arrived!!

Molly Claire Anderson decided to finally join the world at 6:52am on November 13. She weighed in at 8 pounds 13 ounces, and is 20 inches long. We think she is perfect, even if she did put Momma thru hell the last couple of weeks...

41 weeks and not so patiently waiting...

Still no baby. We're about at the end of our ropes (perhaps Elizabeth a bit more than Gabe), and no end in sight. Anybody know of any old wives tales that bring on labor? We're up for trying (almost) anything... Really. Send them our way if you have anything! Please!

Baby girl's first pumpkin patch...

We had a great time hunting pumpkins for baby girl's first halloween... Now we've just got our fingers crossed she gets here in time to enjoy it!

There is a rumor floating about that we got carried away with the amount of pumpkins we carved, but at $1 we couldn't resist. And how halloweeny they look too!

Romantic Weekend Gone Bad...

We decided to take a last-stand-romantic-getaway-weekend, train ride, baseball game, expensive hotel... little did we know Gabe would get food poisoning and I would panic that I was in early labor. Well, at least the Mariners won- perhaps we'll try again after the baby is born.

Vacation is sweet, isn't it?

Just back from a week in Florida, and man did we have a good time! Thanks to Ben & Elizabeth for all they did to show us a good time...
