Sara meets her Great Grampy

I don't know who was happier - Sara or Great Grampy.
These two smiled and laughed and cooed at each other for ages.
Too sweet.

Molly took a while longer to warm up, but Grampy finally bribed her with cheese & a juice box. Smart man.

The continuing saga of our funny girl:
We recieved a double jogger for the girls. The day after it arrived, Molly took a spin around the living room...Strapped into the stroller are Sara's stuffed bear and Molly's apple juice.
She's a riot, this one is.

Finally...

"At approximately six weeks of age, a child will start to make sounds other than crying..."

We thought this day would never get here.

PS. She's talking to the newspaper. Apparently she found the cover story on MudFest fascinating.

Snow!

Daddy was at work the first morning it snowed, so he missed out on the Great Snow Adventure of 2011. Thankfully my mom was down helping out with Sara (who was sick) so I got to go out and play. I never thought I would ever find anyone who loved snow as much as I did. I was wrong.
I could not get Molly to quit looking at her feet the first time she saw snow. She'd shuffle along all the while looking down, then squeal "Where'd my feet go?"
Then a couple of days later after all the snow melted at home, we got to go up to my folks house where snow still abounded.
Throwing snowballs with Daddy was a great source of amusement...
...though all Molly mangaged to do was throw handfuls of unpacked snow.
She was outside for over an hour and was a little popsicle when we finally conviced her to come inside.
And what was Miss Sara doing during all this excitement?
