Grammy is coming! Grammy is coming!

Gabe's parents came down to visit for a few days last week. Grammy Judy took the train down early so we could have an honest-to-gosh-dress-up-and-everything date night!
We owe Judy big time for this!
Grampy Randy came down a couple of days later. Molly was a doll as usual...
Molly checks out Daddy's cards to be sure he's not cheating at Nerts. She claims he was honest but I don't believe her.
Grammy Judy played airplane with Molly's cereal. Both were laughing so hard they were crying, it was a joy to behold.

No way has it been five months already...

Are you kidding me? Is this the same baby we brought home from the hospital? Has it really been five months? Wow! We almost don't recognize our little boo anymore...
Molly is loving her cereal. She kicks her legs and gapes like a baby sparrow and yells if you don't feed her fast enough. Darn camera won't capture all the intricacies of her expressions, but you'll have to trust us that she's quite cute.
Her poops, however, are not so cute since starting on the cereal. Whoo-wee. Stinky!
Molly is really starting to discover that there is a cause-and-effect to everything. It's amazing to watch her discover new talents and toys.
Bonnie gave us a baby backpack that her boys had outgrown, and thank you a million times over! Both Gabe and Molly loooove it to pieces. There are times I have to convince Gabe that the backpack isn't really appropriate (ie when we're antique shopping), that perhaps he should put her in the stroller instead. He usually just makes faces at me.

Molly's first Easter

We had a great time at the Cafferky's on Easter... Molly got lots of candy & toys. Too bad Mom & Dad had to help her eat her candy!

Mmmm.... Rice cereal...

Molly has been showing such interest in food and eating that her pediatrician ok'd us to start her on some rice cereal. Not all babies take to solids at first, but we can't shovel food in fast enough for her. She looks like a baby bird at times with her gaping mouth, but is oh so cute doing it!
