Parade!!

To celebrate Earth Day, there is a kids parade in town called:

Parade of the Species!

The idea is to dress up as your favorite animal, and zigzag thru town on a Saturday morning disastrously disrupting traffic. Molly, upon hearing that she could wear her ladybug costume, insisted we participate.

We got to the courthouse much much much too early, and she was distressed not to see other kids.
But eventually the marimbas and drums and cowbells commenced and off we went.
A little boy realized that Molly was running to pop his bubbles and he promptly stayed in front of her the entire time.
(He even yelled at other kids - "Those aren't for you, those are for Molly!" It was too cute.)
What was Miss Sara doing thru the whole parade? You guessed it.
